Summary 0001217: ls missing support for sockets
Description XCU has support for sockets for the file, find and test utilities, but is missing support in ls.
Desired Action On page 2923 line 96647 section ls, change:
... after each that is a FIFO, ...
to:
... after each that is a FIFO, an <equals-sign> ('=') after each that is a socket, ...

On page 2928 line 96827 section ls, add after 'p':
s Socket.

On page 2929 line 96883 section ls, delete the first paragraph of APPLICATION USAGE:
Many implementations use the <equals-sign> ('=') to denote sockets bound to the file system for the -F option. Similarly, many historical implementations use the 's' character to denote sockets as the entry type characters for the -l option.
