Description |
In bug 0001801 Mohamed Akram requested that the common xargs -P option be added to the standard. Since this cannot be done until Issue 9, in the meantime it can be added to the FUTURE DIRECTIONS section. |

After page 3606 line 123429 add a new paragraph:A future version of this standard may add a -P maxprocs option to turn on a "parallel mode" in which xargs executes at most maxprocs invocations of utility concurrently.
