Summary |
0001215: XSI shading on text about abnormal termination with actions |
Description |
When waitid() was moved from the XSI option to the Base, the XSI shading was also removed from the CLD_DUMPED constant, which relates to abnormal termination with additional actions. However, there are two other places where some text relating to abnormal termination with additional actions is still XSI shaded.
(The descriptions of CLD_KILLED and CLD_DUMPED specifically talk about creation of a core file but should really be phrased in terms of "additional actions". There is a fix for this in the resolution of bug 0001141 but the change could be moved to here if it is felt it should be targeted at TC3 rather than Issue 8.)

Desired Action |
On page 491 line 16997 section 2.4.3 remove XSI shading from:If the default action is to terminate the process abnormally with additional actions, implementation-defined abnormal termination actions, such as creation of a core file, may also occur.
Cross-volume change to XBD...
On page 334 line 11320 section <signal.h> remove XSI shading from:with additional actions. |
