Description |
In the description of -o invalid=action, the first paragraph describes how it affects read, copy and list modes only. However, the "binary" action value talks about write mode as well.
The detail in this paragraph just duplicates information that is given further down the page, so the proposed change removes much of the detail.

On page 3254 line 110181 section pax (OPTIONS), change:... encountering values in an extended header record that, in read or copy mode, are invalid in the destination hierarchy or, in list mode, cannot be written in the codeset and current locale of the implementation. to:... encountering invalid values when reading or writing an extended header record.
After page 3254 line 110194 section pax (OPTIONS), add a new list item:In write mode, a filename, link name, group name, owner name, or any other field in an extended header record that cannot be translated to the UTF-8 codeset.
