Summary | 0000298: Need a way to refer to the note being added in an update
Description | When adding a note to a bug when marking it as "accepted as marked" and when adding an interpretation response, we end up having to update the bug twice. First to add a note and fix most of the status fields and then again to fill in the "Final Accepted Text" field with the newly added bugnote reference. This causes extra work for those updating bugs and generates unneeded email messages.
Desired Action | Add a special value for "noteID" in "bugnote:noteID" such that the special value will be replaced by the noteID of the note being added in an update. I suggest using the special value "new" to perform this action.
