Summary | 0000710: read() and write() pages use "file pointer" | ||||||
Description |
The read() and write() pages sometimes use the term "file offset" and sometimes (in connection with pread() and pwrite()) use "file pointer". The correct term is "file offset". This was corrected in Issue 7 for pwrite() in the DESCRIPTION section (but oddly not for pread()), but has crept in again in the EINVAL error. |
||||||
Desired Action |
At page 1754 line 56389 section pread(), page 1754 line 56421 section pread(), page 2288 line 72478 section pwrite() change: file pointer to: file offset |
