Summary0001256: Mismatch with C99 over number of external symbols
DescriptionThe c99 extended description says "The compiler and link editor shall
support a minimum of 511 external symbols per source or object file,
and a minimum of 4095 external symbols in total."

This doesn't match C99 which says in 5.2.4.1 Translation limits that
the minimum is simply "4095 external identifiers in one translation unit".
Desired ActionOn page 2546 line 82410 section c99, change:
The compiler and link editor shall support a minimum of 511 external symbols per source or object file, and a minimum of 4095 external symbols in total.
to:
The compiler and link editor shall support a minimum of 4095 external identifiers in one translation unit.
