Summary0000135: Out-of-date text about opening a directory for search
DescriptionThe last paragraph of 4.4 File Access Permissions states:

    "POSIX.1-2008 does not provide a way to open a directory for
    searching. It is unspecified whether directory search permission
    is granted based on the file access modes of the directory's
    file descriptor or on the mode of the directory at the time the
    directory is searched."

This text is left over from old drafts that predate the addition
of O_SEARCH.
Desired ActionDelete the paragraph.
