Summary0000231: readlink() rationale out of date regarding timestamps
DescriptionIn the revision a requirement was added that readlink() marks the last
data access timestamp for update. However, the rationale still says
"Since POSIX.1-2008 does not require any association of file times
with symbolic links, there is no requirement that file times be
updated by readlink()."
Desired ActionDelete "Since POSIX.1-2008 does not require any association of file
times with symbolic links, there is no requirement that file times be
