DescriptionThe nm description says that symbol names are sorted "alphabetically".
It is not clear how symbol names that include non-alphabetic
characters (e.g. digits or underscores) should be sorted.
Desired ActionAt line 97946 change

    Sort output by value instead of alphabetically.

to

    Sort output by value instead of by symbol name.

At line 97979 change

    the output shall be sorted alphabetically by symbol name

to

    the output shall be sorted by symbol name according to the
    collation sequence in the current locale
