Summary0001432: Possible rendering bug in webpage for pr utility?
DescriptionOn
https://pubs.opengroup.org/onlinepubs/9699919799/utilities/pr.html
the [XSI] marking is oddly far away from the -f option it applies to, in the list of options at the very top of the page. It appears behind [-i[char][gap]] rather than right in front of [-fp]. This seems unintentional to me.

If I'm wrong, close this immediately, of course! Thanks.

Also, half-relatedly, why are [-fp] paired like that when -p isn't marked XSI? I think -p could be moved into [-adFmrt] to make [-adFmprt] but perhaps I'm missing something.
Desired ActionMove the [XSI] marking to immediately in front of [-fp]

The XSI shading is correct in the PDF version of the standard (page 3107, line 103846 in the 2017 version of the standard).

The problem here is just that the line break should be before the [XSI] instead of after it. The [XSI] is supposed to appear at the beginning of the line containing the option-start marker.

pr seems to be unique in needing an option code at the start of a continuation line in a SYNOPSIS section.

The layout has been addressed as in 0005165

Regarding the "Also" comment about -p, I agree it would make sense to move it, but that should be requested via a separate bug in the Issue7+TC2 project as it would need to be changed in the standard itself, not just the online HTML translation.

Thanks, Geoff, that's a good idea. I did so here:
