Summary | 0001900: cosmetic: implementors vs. implementers
Description |
Throughout the standard the text uses the wording "implementor[s]" whereas in the preface there are two occasions where "implementer[s]": - Laws and regulations "Implementers of the standard are responsible…" - IMPORTANT NOTICE "Implementers and users of IEEE Standards…" Wiktionary lists the former as an alternative spelling of the latter (https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/implementor), [^] but not sure whether that’s authoritative enough. |
|||||||||||
Desired Action | This is just a heads up and in principle I'd be fine if it's left as is, but maybe you want to align the spelling to either of the two forms (probably to implementor[s]).
