Summary0000365: List of directories to visit and "-exec rm"
DescriptionI've never participated in this before, so please forgive me if i
state the matter incorrectly or write to the wrong group.

Lately i've found a small lack of conciseness in the standard
concerning the find utility behaviour with recursive actions, eg
removing subdirectories.

There was a discussion at
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-findutils/2010-05/msg00037.html

In short, it's not stated whether -exec acts on the directory contents
before -exec'ed command or after.
Desired ActionShould it be stated explicitly, that the behaviour in this case is unspecified?

Add to Description for find (issue 7 page 2737, line 89056):

If a file is removed from or added to the directory hierarchy being searched it is unspecified whether or not find includes that file in its search.
